Sauteed Shrimp W/Gorgonzola Cream Sauce

Appetizer
Bread Sticks:- 1 Package Tube Packaged Bread Sticks
- 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
- 1 tablespoon Parmesan Cheese
Sauteed Shrimp:
- 1 Pound Medium to large Shrimp
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 Cloves Garlic-minced
- 1/2 Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
- 1/4 Cup White Wine
- 2 1/2 Tablespoons Seasoned Bread Crumbs
Gorgonzola Sauce:
- 3 Tablespoons Butter
- 3 Tablespoons Flour
- 1 Cup Heavy Cream
- 1/4 Teaspoon Salt, Pepper and Nutmeg
- 4 Ounces Cream Cheese Chive and Onion Flavor
- 1/2 Pound Gorgonzola Cheese
Bread Sticks
Lay out bread stick as per package directions and sprinkle with garlic and Parmesan Cheese, cook as directed.
Sauteed Shrimp:
In Saute pan on medium low heat, add olive oil and butter and minced garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, pepper and saute for about a minute, then add wine. Let wine reduce for a couple of minutes. Then add shrimp, cook just until shrimp are pink. Add bread crumbs and let thicken, remove from heat and set aside.
Gorgonzola Sauce:
In Separate Saute pan on Medium low, melt butter and wish in flour and cook for about 1 minute. Stir in heavy cream, then add salt, pepper and nutmeg. Incorporate cream cheese and Gorgonzola, stirring frequently until cheeses have melted and sauce is thick and creamy.
Pour cheese sauce on to plate, top with shrimp and serve with bread sticks
